On May 24th, each club member’s fastest mile was added to the club league as a segment. Chris Gillott had already laid down the gauntlet back in March with a very impressive 6 minutes, 23 seconds
Two more of WRC members were out at the weekend putting in their opening bids. John Potter ran 5 minutes, 30 seconds for his mile at Long Eaton on Saturday, whilst club league leader Graham Robinson clocked 6 minutes, 22 seconds, running along the beach, in Wales!
Why not have a go and get on the leaderboard? You can run any mile you like, on any course you like, the only rule is that there must not be a gradient advantage.
Or have a go at one of the other segments that our club members have set up. Details of how the club league is operating during the lockdown can be found here on our website.
