Sometimes, joining a running club as a new runner can be daunting and some people may be put off by the level of ability and experience of others at a club session.
The aim of ‘Run Confident’ is to create running confidence by leading new runners and those looking to improve their running through a series of sessions that will act as a feeder to running with the Club.
The sessions are free and led by certified Leaders in Running Fitness – Stef Brassington, Tanya Rountree and Liz Abrahams.
The group meets every Sunday at 8am for an hour at various locations around Wirksworth – Carsington reservoir paths, Cromford Meadows, High Peak Trail. New suggestions always welcome!
