Dave Spencer ran Tunnels and Trails in 46 minutes, 41 seconds
With Wirksworth Running Club’s official Tunnels and Trails race in June looking increasingly unlikely, WRC members have been out having a go at it individually. Zack Hubbard got the better of dad, Chris, on their same-household attempt at it. John Potter pushed daughter Jennifer out and back in her buggy, whilst Dave Spencer later ran the course, complaining that he’d rather have been in the buggy!
The Tunnels and Trails segment now forms part of the club’s handicap league with the points available being the same as the number of runners who have done it. Current standings:

Dave Spencer (46:41) 2 points
John Potter (42:39) 1 point
