Brian Clements ran his 200th parkrun this year and achieved a lifetime PB of 23:30.
The Wirksworth Running Club 2019 League ran from January 1st until November 30th.
Points are awarded for runners’ best 12 races, volunteer points for the 5 races that our club organises each year, parkrun points, and club vest points for proudly parading the WRC vest at away events over different distances.
The level of competition this year was very high with both the men’s and women’s races being closely contended until the very end. Stacy Newton (main picture) amassed an extremely impressive 249 points to claim 1st place overall.

3rd Bob King 210
Bob King came 3rd in the men’s competition. He has now finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the WRC league.
