Meeting at 7 pm at Wirksworth Leisure Centre and heading to the High Peak Trail. Suitable for all abilities as you run at your own pace. The main aim of these sessions is to get you used to going at a faster pace than usual – helpful for shorter races and also for those sprint finishes. As Paul is not available to lead tonight’s session, we are looking for a volunteer. If you never lead the session before, it is very easy: warm up jog to the Black Rocks car park and then 6 x fast between the car park and steam rail station gate ~400m with 2 min rest. Followed by a cool down jog back to the Leisure Centre. Remember to pace yourself so you can manage all 6 times at roughly the same speed. Stopwatch is useful. Good luck everyone!
