Bakewell was the place of choice for Wirksworth members this week, and we start the report with Mark Crawshaw, who sliced a massive 23 seconds off his Bakewell PB down to 19:30. John Potter’s merry peloton of parkrun cyclists was up to 3 people and the euphoria of having 2 friends helped him push his Bakewell PB out another few seconds to 18:29, just enough for 3rd place overall. Steph Solomon got off her bike to clock 23:54, whilst James Watson got off his to improve his Bakewell PB to 22:09.
