Chris Sleath ran an incredible 16:39 this week at Long Eaton, though unbelievably, this only got him 7th place!  Not so unbelievable was the fact that Chris still hasn’t sorted out his barcode for the world to see his effort.  At Markeaton, Lewis Glover knocked 11 seconds off his previous best there with 20:07 (14th out of 663 finishers) to shoot himself into 3rd place in the parkrun section of the club leage.  Lewis is surely going to be ducking under 20 minutes in the iminent future. Talking of sub-20 firsts, John Potter was thrilled to bits to push daughter, Jennifer, round in 19:44, a massive buggy course PB for him and 7th place today.
