Graham and Helen were running in Devon
A whopping 8 Wirksworth members ran at Markeaton on Saturday and we did rather well. None of us cycled there this week, mainly due to various other commitments, which perhaps left our legs fresh to power on through the slightly muggy conditions. Our members’ times were Georgia Mai Walker 29:16, James Watson 23:49, Dave Spencer 20:51, Mark Crawshaw 20:11, Raf Abrahams 24:10, Chris Hubbard 27:02, Zack Hubbard 24:53 and John Potter 18:20.
Brian Clements ran a solid 26:42 at Crystal Palace but Graham Robinson 22:18 and Helen Robinson 31:24 (PB) were down at the Killerton parkrun in Devon. Graham writes “Whilst staying with family on holiday, Helen and I took the opportunity of ditching the children and both entering the Killerton National Trust estate, Exeter, Devon parkrun. On the day, a field of 292 runners “enjoyed” the undulating and scenic route. Ran on a mixture of grass and tracks, this makes for a great and challenging course.”
