We had a massive turnout at Shipley this week and some great results too. Wirksworth’s Georgia-Mai Walker (27:29), Sarah Chamberlain (29:07), Rachel Hathaway (29:40), Ruth Calvbert (29:05), and Tanya Rountree (29:46) all beat the 30-min mark on the tough hilly course. Our hero this week, however, was Joanna Butt who completed her first parkrun in a long time (33:40) – Jo has had the most enormous bad luck with injuries over the last couple of years, so everyone at the club is thrilled to see her back running again.
At Markeaton John Potter (19:14), Dave Spencer (20:53), Adam Leighton (24:10), and James Watson (24:55) all put in solid performances too.
