Five WRC members went to Markeaton this week, with Brian Clements and John Potter cycling there. Brian ran a solid 25:35 whilst John managed to knock 20 seconds off his course PB with 18:26. The course PBs weren’t finished there.. Alex Clemmitt hadn’t run at Markeaton since about this time last year, yet still recorded his course PB of 23:53. Mark Crawshaw was still feeling the effects of the hot Brassington Fell race, yet still clocked 20:18, a time that most would love to run. Tiffany Lovelock doubled her tally of Markeaton parkruns, going round in 30:27.
Meanwhile, Chris GIllott had chosen Bakewell to do battle – Chris’s 20:51 was enough to see him first homein the V50-54 category.
