When will Sarah Chamberlain stop getting PBs! Sarah’s incredible run of form continued this week, at Markeaton, where she went round in 25:44. Brian Clements’ performance was just as impressive. His 23:54 was just 8 seconds off his course PB and he has now run sub-24 at Markeaton four times. Lewis Glover was running his first ever UK parkrun and laid down a solid 20:18 marker to chase. Like Sarah, Lewis is still on the exponential arc of improvement, expect to see the sub-20 fall in the near future.
5 WRC members went to Bakewell. Chris Gillott (20:11), Stacy Newton (20:12) and Mark Crawshaw (20:18) all finished within 7 seconds of each other! John Potter ran 18:30 and Tanya Rountree went out and back in 41:24 with her friend, Zoe Boyes.
