Fairly tough conditions today for the annual Litton fell race. The river was flooded up to knee deep for long sections between Litton and Cressbrook and there was plenty of slippery mud on sections of the course. Mulled wine, mince pies and a cosy post-race warm up in the village hall made it all worthwhile and all three Wirksworth lads gained on their previous times making personal course records, despite Chris and Mark losing time on the wrong route towards the trig;
43rd 1:05:06 Mark Crawshaw
121st 1:18:26 Chris Gillott
151st 1:23:33 Brian Clements
