At the recommendation of Wirksworth Running Club members lead by Ray Foley and supported by Mike Briggs, Dave Denton was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2015 Amber Valley Sports Awards. Mike and Jacqui Knox attended the presentation on behalf of the club.
Dave organises many of the races in our club league including the upcoming QUEEN’S HEAD 5km road race, BELPER : SUNDAY 27 DECEMBER at 11am and the NEW YEAR’S DAY HANGOVER 5ML road race FRIDAY 1 JANUARY 2016 at 11am the Malt Shovel pub, Oakerthorpe Road, Washgreen, Wirksworth.
