Dave Spencer’s purple patch continues
Three Wirksworth runners took part in the Carisngton 7+ today and ran really well. Dave Spencer (53:31), Georgia Mai-Walker (1:14:00) and Emma Tink (1:30:56). Well done all!
On Saturday, a few of us were at various pakruns around the country. Rafael Abrahams ran 25:20 at the Endcliffe parkrun, John Potter, 20:46 at the Ford parkrun, and Brian Clements was pootling about at Crystal Palace as usual. Paul Christmas ran the UK’s toughest parkrun, which is Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District. This is Paul’s new local parkrun and we wish him all the best there. Paul has given a lot to our small but mighty club down the years and we won’t forget his efforts – thank you, Paul!
