Three WRC runners took part in the Parks Life fell race in Belper on Thursday 18th May. This is a relatively new race having only debuted last year.

It turned to be a great course, attended by both non club-affiliated runners and supported well by local running clubs too – all adding up to 180 entrants. This little course had a bit of everything: long grass sections, short grass sections, steep descents, the inevitable climbs, woodland, technical bits, flat tracks and even short sections of tarmac thrown in. All in all, a great run, good atmosphere and marshalled by a friendly bunch.

To cap it off there was great cake at the end (with proceeds to charity,) plus Simon walked away with first prize in his age cat. Full results can be found here.
