Wirksworth Runners had great fun taking part in a banana relay with other local clubs for fairtrade fortnight: This is a national campaign to abolish the unfair banana. Lyn, Emma and Nicky ran from Wirksworth to Matlock waving bananas at passers by to encourage them to think about buying fairtrade (or at least make them wonder what on earth we were doing!)
