James writes; “At our Christmas Dinner this year Paul suggested we set ourselves a running goal to achieve in 2018 so I thought I would take the bait and have a go.
So, ‘Tada!!’ I did my first proper Fell Race ‘the Tour of Bradwell’ yesterday. I say ‘proper’ in that it involved lots of mud, some cleverly concealed ice, low cloud and all whilst running 15 miles over hill and dale, hanging out with hardy men and women for a few hours. They are a different breed to softie road runners.
Anyway, mission accomplished! I finished it in just under three hours and came half way in the field see https://www.racetek-live.co.uk/website/public_results/548/complete_results/ and didn’t break my neck in the process.
